The Village hotel Cardiff have had an exciting new refurb of their bar and restaurant area and it looks amazing.
With great gym and space facilities, excellent rooms and professional service, the Village Hotel is one of the best places to stay overnight within Cardiff and the surrounding area. Whether you just need somewhere to rest your head, you fancy treating yourself to spa day, you want somewhere nice to stay while you venture into the city itself, or if you’re just popping in for food and a drink, Village is always the perfect stop. And now, thanks to its new restaurant, called Village Grill, the hotel has become even better.
The restaurant area of the hotel has been completely revamped, with a new menu to match. Village Grill is tastefully laid-out but has a relaxed atmosphere that makes it perfect for a quick stop-off as well as being a treat for anyone who is staying at the hotel. It opened on 25th of June and has already received great feedback from customers and staff alike.

Prices are reasonable and the service is never less than competent. We went to the Village ourselves to see if the new restaurant cut the mustard, and it really does. There is an excellent selection of steaks, fillets, skewers, burgers and plenty more, as well as a brilliant set menu if you’re looking to keep prices down. We went for for piri piri chicken skewers and and the village 1/2 pound burger and we haven’t stopped talking about them since.
There is also a fantastic bar within the restaurant and a number of screen on which you can watch the latest sports match. The Village Hotel has an app that you can use to download and then get discount on drinks while the match is on. We can’t say fairer than that!
