Two of Cardiff’s cocktail bars have been nominated in the top 50 Cocktail Bars in the UK.
The best places in the UK to drink cocktails have been revealed by Top 50 Cocktail Bars, a list of the greatest spirits bars the UK has to offer, voted for by bartenders and drinks experts.
Hundreds of the UK’s top bartenders, spirits and cocktail experts have voted for the bars they believe to be exceptional and deserving of a space among the 50 greatest cocktail bars in the UK.
The Dead Canary and Lab 22 have both been shortlisted in this year’s list with Scotland’s Bramble Bar taking the top spot during the grand reveal in Manchester.
Votes were gathered from as far north as Aberdeen, to Wales and then all the way down to the southern coast of England.
The list paints a diverse picture of the cocktail bars we have available in the UK, with our very own The Dead Canary coming in at a very respectable 24th.
Meanwhile creative cocktail bar Lab 22 on Caroline street came in a little further back, at 31st, with their very own Alex Mills receiving a special award for Best Bar Tender.
