One of Cardiff’s scariest Halloween attractions is returning this October, and after a terrifying first year, the team behind it are promising an even bigger and more immersive experience for 2026.
The Harvest of Horror at Clearwell Farm is back for the spooky season, transforming the popular PYO sunflower, pumpkin and Christmas tree farm on the outskirts of Cardiff into a huge Halloween attraction.
Following the success of last year’s event, visitors will once again be able to explore the farm after dark, with scare mazes, live actors and a cursed village waiting around every corner.

But this year, something new has arrived at Clearwell Farm.
Organisers have revealed that the 2026 Harvest of Horror will introduce a completely new section of the scare attraction as the Clearwell travelling circus arrives at the cursed farm and village.
The circus brings a new collection of characters and scares into the Harvest of Horror story, expanding the experience beyond last year’s attraction.
Guests will make their way through a series of horror-themed walkthroughs across the farm, encountering actors, characters and immersive sets as the story unfolds around them.
Organisers say they have taken everything they learnt from the first year and are turning things up for 2026, with more scares, new attractions and an even more immersive experience.

The Pumpkin Village Is Returning
It isn’t all about being terrified.
Clearwell Farm’s Pumpkin Village will also return, giving visitors the chance to pick their own pumpkins while exploring the Halloween-themed farm.
The attraction combines traditional autumn pumpkin picking with themed displays and plenty of photo opportunities, making it an alternative for those who want to experience Clearwell at Halloween without taking on the full scare maze.
The Pumpkin Festival will open ahead of the main scare season, with its first dates on 9 and 10 October.
A Halloween Experience for Children Too
Younger Halloween fans aren’t being left out either.
Clearwell Farm will once again host a separate family-friendly Halloween experience for children aged 15 and under, offering a toned-down way to explore the farm.
Rather than the full scares of the nighttime attraction, families can take part in a Halloween trick-or-treat walkthrough featuring more child-friendly characters and themes. Actors will not touch visitors during the experience, making it a much gentler introduction to Halloween at Clearwell.
When Is Harvest of Horror 2026?
The main Harvest of Horror scare attraction begins on 16 and 17 October, before returning on 23 and 24 October.
It will then return for Halloween and the half-term week, running from 27 to 31 October 2026.
With the cursed village returning, a new circus attraction, pumpkin picking and separate experiences for adults and children, Clearwell Farm is preparing for its biggest Halloween season yet.
Early Creeper tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday 21 August, ahead of general sale on Friday 28 August.
If last year’s reaction is anything to go by, you might want to get those tickets before darkness falls.
