One of Cardiff’s best-known club nights is coming back for one more party, with Time Flies announcing a huge reunion at the venue where it all started.
After being inundated with messages, emails and social media posts from people wanting to see its return, the team behind the legendary dance night has confirmed the Time Flies Reunion Party for Saturday 30 January 2027.
And this time, you won’t have to wait until midnight to hit the dancefloor.
Time Flies will return to Y Plas at Cardiff University Students’ Union for a huge DAYRAVE running from 3pm until 11pm, bringing together some of the DJs who helped soundtrack an era of clubbing.
The reunion will take over four rooms of house music, with DJs from across the region joined by a line-up of major names including Jeremy Healy, John Kelly, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Brandon Block and Alex P.
For anyone who remembers Cardiff’s clubbing scene and the days when Time Flies was a regular fixture in the city’s nightlife calendar, this is going to be a serious trip down memory lane.
The event will take things right back to where the Time Flies story began, filling Y Plas with eight hours of house music and bringing together a crowd who may have spent more than a few nights on its dancefloor over the years.
Organisers announced the reunion after receiving a wave of requests from former clubbers asking for Time Flies to make a comeback.
They said: “After being overwhelmed with such lovely text messages, emails, and social media posts we proudly present the long-awaited Time Flies Reunion Party!”
There will also be a limited number of VIP tickets, giving guests queue jump, access to the VIP balcony overlooking the dancefloor and entry to the exclusive Time Flies VIP Backstage Bar, where DJs will be playing their way through the history of house music.
Tickets go on sale at 8am on Wednesday 9 September, with Early Bird tickets priced at £20, Saver tickets at £22.50 and Standard tickets at £25.
Limited VIP tickets will be available for £35.
For those who were there the first time around, it is a chance to get the old crew back together. For everyone else, it’s an opportunity to experience one of Cardiff’s iconic dance nights for themselves.
Time Flies Reunion Party takes place at Y Plas, Cardiff University Students’ Union, on Saturday 30 January 2027, from 3pm until 11pm. Tickets go on sale Wednesday 9 September at 8am through Fatsoma, Skiddle and Universe Ticketmaster.
