One of Cardiff city centre’s busiest streets is set to come alive with street food, music and independent traders as The Great Cardiff Feast returns to Queen Street for its final event of 2026.
Following its previous visits to the city centre, the free food festival will be back from Thursday 24 to Sunday 27 September, bringing four days of food, drink, shopping and entertainment to the heart of Cardiff.
Around 50 independent traders are expected to take over Queen Street, alongside live stage performances and DJs throughout the weekend.

Street food from around the world
If you’re heading into the city hungry, there should be plenty to choose from.
The festival will bring together flavours from around the world, with traders serving everything from Korean corn dogs and loaded fries to Greek street food, Mexican favourites, Indian curries and Caribbean dishes.
Those with a sweet tooth won’t be forgotten either. Expect Portuguese custard tarts, artisan brownies, cookies, churros, loaded waffles and cannoli among the treats available across the four days.
There will also be plenty to drink, including cocktails, Pimm’s, prosecco, tequila, craft ales and traditional ciders, alongside speciality coffee and alcohol-free options.
More than just food
The Great Cardiff Feast isn’t just somewhere to grab lunch.
Alongside the food and drink stalls, visitors will be able to browse a selection of independent traders selling handmade jewellery, clothing, crystals, artwork, perfumes, African prints, gifts and artisan products.
Live entertainment will add to the atmosphere throughout the event, with stage performances and DJs turning Queen Street into an open-air festival space.
With free entry and plenty happening throughout the day, you can simply wander through while shopping in the city centre, stop for something to eat or make an afternoon of it.
One final feast for 2026
This will be the final Great Cardiff Feast of the Summer, so if you’ve missed the previous events or fancy one more street-food weekend before autumn properly arrives, this is your chance.
The Great Cardiff Feast takes place on Queen Street, Cardiff, CF10 2GR, from Thursday 24 to Sunday 27 September 2026. Entry is completely free.
