From nostalgic Christmas assemblies and a Nashville-style festive night out to pop tributes for younger fans and the return of Bingo Lingo’s Christmas specials, DEPOT is bringing a packed programme of seasonal celebrations to Cardiff this winter.
Cardiff independent venue DEPOT has shared its Christmas programme, with festive events taking over its Curran Road venue from 27th November.
Across the month, the 30,000 sq ft space will host Christmas nights out for friends and colleagues alongside a daytime pop party for younger fans, bringing together live music, theatrical staging and some of DEPOT’s best-known homegrown entertainment.
Bingo Lingo brings The Greatest Show to Cardiff
Leading the festive programme is Bingo Lingo Christmas: The Greatest Show, with eight dates running across four weekends from 27th November.
Inspired by the world of The Greatest Showman, this year’s Christmas edition gives DEPOT’s homegrown bingo party a circus-style makeover, combining a ringmaster host, performances and immersive staging with big musical anthems, audience games and outrageous prizes.
The DEPOT will become a carnival of lights and colour, with singalongs and on-stage antics woven between the bingo rounds.
Sessions take place on 27th and 28th November, followed by 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th and 19th December. Reserved tables for groups of eight or sixteen are available to book alongside individual entry tickets.
Christmas singalongs, from the school assembly hall to Nashville

On 8th December, James B Partridge presents The Big Christmas Assembly, bringing a nostalgic festive singalong to Cardiff.
The teacher and performer, whose school assembly songs have taken him from classroom performances to TikTok fame and even Glastonbury Festival, will revisit the soundtrack of childhood Christmases through festive favourites, throwback mashups and stories.
Drawing on memories of nativity plays and the last day of term, the show invites audiences to join in with the songs they grew up singing.
Two nights later, One Night In Nashville: A Very Country Christmas arrives on 10th December, bringing a live band and a festive twist to its celebration of country music.
Fronted by singer Maria Jordan, the show combines modern country hits with established classics, featuring music made famous by artists including Shania Twain, Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood and Chris Stapleton, alongside tributes to Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash and Kenny Rogers.
And on 13th December, DEPOT’s own Christmas Sing-a-Long, will give audiences another opportunity to get together and join in with the soundtrack of the season, accompanied by a Welsh male voice choir and a live band.
A festive pop party for younger fans
The Christmas programme also includes GirlyPop Live: Xmas Takeover on Sunday 29th November, with a daytime celebration for pop fans aged five and over.
Running from 12pm to 4.30pm, the event features live tribute performances celebrating Ariana Grande, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift and Zara Larsson, each with a festive twist.
Alongside the music, visitors can expect roaming performers, glitter makeovers, hair stations and snowy photo backdrops, with bubbles, confetti and festive snacks adding to the afternoon.
A packed programme to round off the year
The DEPOT festive programme complements a packed schedule of live music and events at the venue through November and December, with touring dates from The Streets, PRESIDENT, Avatar, Fat Dog and Midge Ure, followed by The Hunna’s final tour on 9th December and Max Cooper’s 3D/AV live show on 17th December.
December also brings Beefy’s Comedy Club with Guz Khan on 6th December and Catseye on 21st December. The celebrations continue after Christmas with the R&B Lovers Indoor Festival on 27th December, before Robbie Doherty headlines New Year’s Eve, with the full line-up still to be announced.
