The wait is finally over – cult burger heroes burger Boyz are officially opening their second brick-and-mortar location and it’s in Cardiff this Friday, 18th July, and it’s set to be a game-changer for burger lovers in the city.
Known for their tasty pop-ups and the unmistakable presence of their burger van Truck Norris, burger Boyz have already built a fierce following across South Wales with their OG site in Port Talbot and sites in Newport, Swansea, Bridgend. Now, they’re bringing their giant smashed burgers, bold flavour combos, and outrageous sides to the heart of Cardiff – setting up shop opposite Victoria Park on Cowbridge Road East, in the space once occupied by welsh burger bar – Ansh.
Expect all the hits: double smashed patties, crispy edges, gooey cheese, and toppings that range from the classic to the totally filthy. Their sides have become legendary – think loaded fries stacked high, spicy nuggets, and deep-fried treats you didn’t know you needed.

Founded in 2021 by childhood mates Marcin Sadlos and Jack Phillips,Burger Boyz began life in a food truck after the duo left behind careers in engineering to pursue their culinary passion. After a breakout run in Port Talbot, they quickly expanded and have since become one of Wales’ most talked-about street food names.
Cardiff’s burger scene is no stranger to big players, but burger Boyz are coming in hot with a reputation for doing things differently – and outrageous .
