Featuring Award-Winning Welsh Choir at their Cardiff city centre site
The UK’s most iconic pizzeria brand, PizzaExpress, is spreading holiday cheer this December with the launch of its brand-new Press for Showtime series. The series will bring free live entertainment to select pizzerias for diners to enjoy alongside their festive favourite and a Peroni or two.
With recent YouGov data revealing that over half (56%) of families are cutting back on festive outings this year and 41% are planning to forgo traditional experiences and events all together, this intimate pop-up show features as part of a fortnight of magical, in-restaurant entertainment designed to sprinkle a little extra festive joy into the season for families.
Performances will be popping up across the UK throughout the holiday season, including award-winning, Welsh choir, John’s Boys Male Chorus, at PizzaExpress St Davids restaurant on Monday 9th December.
Pizza fans enjoying a meal at the restaurant between 4pm and 6pm will be treated to a special, intimate performance by the male vocalists, who bring a modern twist to the traditional Welsh Male Voice Choir. The Chorus captured the ears and hearts of the nation when they made it to the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent last year, as well as going on to perform at The Royal Variety Show.
PizzaExpress’ Press for Showtime series launched with an intimate performance by Rag’n’Bone Man – fresh off the back of his sold-out UK & European tour, Rag’n’Bone Man brought his soulful sound to PizzaExpress Live, on Wednesday 4thDecember.
The series will continue through December, enabling diners to experience unforgettable entertainment, as it welcomes some of the country’s favourite festive performances – from world-renown Christmas choirs and iconic pantomime characters – to its pizzerias this December.
