Nationwide Feed The Students At Freshers

Nationwide, the UK’s largest building society, is set to fill bellies this Freshers Week as it hits the road across the UK, serving up breakfast and good vibes to students in several locations from its NationFried van. 

Food is a defining part of university life – whether that’s cooking up a feast in your new digs, getting to know your new housemates over a takeaway, or heading out to ease the hangover with a greasy (and delicious) fry-up. 

The NationFried tour is being held in celebration of Nationwide’s FlexStudent account, building on the success of the NationFried café pop-up in London, this time swapping a full English for funds and buns served from a van. Bacon rolls and veggie mushroom buns will be served to students with a side of orange juice, all in the name of helping them save money as they embark on their next uni chapter.

Nationwide’s FlexStudent account* is the must-have student current account, dishing out tasty perks to help student’s money go further, including £100 free cash, £120 worth of Just Eat vouchers and an interest-free overdraft for up to £1,000 in your first year. Students can also bag an extra £40 in Just Eat vouchers for referring up to two friends.

And that’s not all! Not only will students have the chance to grab a delicious breakfast treat, as part of Nationwide’s Spin to Win wheel, they also be able to get their hands on a variety of student goodies, including £10 Just Eat vouchers.

The NationFried Van will arrive outside of Cardiff University Student Union, Senghennydd Rd, Cardiff, CF24 4AZ on the 23rd of September, with one free breakfast roll available per person between 10AM – 3PM, while stocks last.
