Cardiff has Recently been named as one of the best cities in the UK to spend the Christmas holiday this year, in a list compiled by TripAdvisor. This video made by Cardiff Met shows why so many people fall in love with Cardiff at Christmas.
From walking through the 130-acre Bute Park on a crisp December morning, to enjoying a pint of Brains in one of the cosy pubs nearby, the video follows current Cardiff Met students Jason, Enoch, Fingal, Emily, Elen and Mali as they enjoy a festive day out at the end of term. It culminates with the students enjoying the Christmas markets and an ice-skating session at Cardiff’s ever-popular Wales Online Winter Wonderland.
The video was shot at a variety of locations around Cardiff city centre. The idea behind it was to give potential applicants who might be thinking about studying in Cardiff, an inside look at what life off-campus is really like for students and of course, show off the fab festivities on offer in Cardiff at this time of year.
