We’re asking all members of the public to keep an eye out for a missing year, because 2018 seems to have disappeared! The weeks are flying by and some people have already started counting down to Christmas. Surely it’s too soon to dig out that Michael Bublé album? No? As of today we only have eighty-eight more sleeps until Santa comes to town. Or so we’ve been told…
Anyway, we’ve got another jam-packed weekend coming up this week, including some of the last festivals of the year, including the huge Party in the Park, which we’ve been waiting for all summer. These are not dying embers of summer; they’re burning hot coals. As well as that we’ve got great food and sporting events, and once again we’re bracing ourselves for a visit from some dinosaurs… They’re here so often they’re practically locals.
Here’s our list of the best things happening in city this week. Enjoy!
Party in the Park
On Friday 28th September Party in the Park will be lighting up Bute Park with a stormer of a line-up that includes Al Mackay’s Earth, Wind and Fire, Tony Hadley, T’Pau, Odyssey and Big Mac’s Wholly Sould Band. The event is being brought to us by the same team who organise the Inside Out festival, so we know we’re in safe hands.

Cardiff Devils vs Glasgow Clan
The Devils are in a rich vein of form, winning their last three games, and this match on Sunday looks set to be a cracker. Glasgow Clan have been playing very well lately, clocking up some goal-heavy victories of late, so this could be a close game, and it’s almost guaranteed to be an entertaining one.
