The much-loved Conway Pub in Pontcanna is undergoing an exciting transformation in 2025 after closing January last year. The popular independent fiery Nashville hot chicken restaurant, Fowl and Fury, is now opening its second site in Canton. The business, which started in lockdown in owner Jamie Rees’ back garden before beginning in pop-up hot spot Sticky Fingers, currently has one restaurant in Cathays are expanding and will open on the site of the old wiwo noodle bar.

They teased us in 2024 with the announcement that the group will be growing and moving into new area with Cardiff as one of the locations, with no official site… yet. Pizza Punks, a brand known for its build-your-own pizzas and unlimited toppings at no extra cost.
