A Mini Heatwave Is On The Way To The UK

We have had a couple of really rough months with weather beast after beast and freezing temperatures sticking around for longer than expected, but respite is on the way.

Finally a little ray of sunshine is on the horizon! Warm weather will be coming over from Spain and we are set to be warmer than Barcelona, Istanbul and the South of France. Temperatures are predicted to rise to 70F in just 10 days – We can’t wait!

Sarah Kent told the Express: “We will see temperatures in double figures in London and the southeast with high single figures expected further north. Friday will see an east-west split bring breezier, cloudier conditions to the west although it will be much milder in the southerly airflow.”

The Met Office’s long range forecast predicts that from April 19, we will see “the chance of drier and more settled conditions dominating, especially at the start of the period.”

Time to dig out the flip flops and finally start feeling summery!
