As of this week, there’s a new city centre hangout for the post-work crowd to check out.
Little Man Coffee, the popular independent coffee shop in Cardiff city centre, has extended its Thursday opening hours until 8.30pm, and alongside their usual offering of hot and cold soft drinks and great coffee, will be serving wines by the glass from award-winning Sustainable wine merchants Chilled and Tannin.
Where once there was artwork, this cosy coffee shop’s walls are now lined with hundreds of interesting bottles of ‘wine with a conscience’ – because Chilled and Tannin specialised in sustainable, organic and authentic wines from around the world.
Little Man Coffee founder Rob Cooper said “Whether you’re looking for somewhere to relax with a glass of something special with friend – or putting in some extra hours on apassion project and just need some great coffee – we think our cosy space in the city centre is a great place to get it done.
We’re looking forward to inviting people to stay a bit later with us every Thursday; we’ve worked with the team at Chilled and Tannin to pick out a selection of wines to serve by the glass, including a delicious organic Montepulciano D’abruzzo with delicate wild cherry and violet notes; and thecomplex Le Penchant, made from 100% Roussanne grapes and full of expressive stone and tropical fruit.”
Little Man Coffee is also taking part in the popular Cardiff Wine Passport scheme, which means you can get your passport stamped at the venue in return for a delicious glass of white or red up until 15th September. You can read more about the Cardiff Wine Passport here.
Late Thursdays at Little Man Coffee starts from August 18thand will run every week.
