The Cardiff Winter Wonderland is set to return to the city tomorrow – this time with the addition of an ice bar!

This year, the attraction returns and will be bigger than ever, covering two sites across the city, between the City Hall Lawns and inside Cardiff Castle.
This year, the Castle grounds will become home to a mighty undercover ice rink and a magical 150m ice walk, allowing for a skating experience against the backdrop of the spectacular Norman Keep. In addition to its popular funfair attractions, City Hall Lawns will boast two spectacular bars for 2021 – with a new-and-improved Sur La Piste Bar with rooftop terrace and even a brand-new Ice Bar!
Visitors will be able to chill (quite literally) in -10-degree temperatures and take their best selfies in Cardiff’s newest and coolest Instagram hotspot.
The famous Giant Wheel will also return to City Hall Lawns, which offers some of the best views of Cardiff. Visitors can also enjoy delicious food and drink, with options to tuck into a Yorkshire pudding wrap, toast marshmallows on an open fire or indulge in a dreamy hot chocolate.

This new layout will give visitors the chance to enjoy even more of Winter Wonderland than before and compliments other winter activities being held across Cardiff’s city centre at the same time – including the traditional Cardiff Christmas Market and Cardiff’s Festive Quarter.
