Discover an Enchanted Garden in Penarth this Half-term

Fun lovers and families are invited to step into the beautifully illuminated gardens of Alexandra Park this February.

Looking for something with a little magic this February half-term? Well this year Alexandra Park, Penarth will be transformed into an Enchanted Garden. Complete with Giant’s Garden and Fairy Kingdom, you’re certain to come away with a renewed sense of wonder to blow away the winter blues.

Local organisers Lizzie & Rich Rayner have brought their years of event experience home to Penarth to create a world filled with immersive soundscapes, lighting displays and design installations all starting at the iconic Turner House Gallery. There will be unlimited photo ops, interactive moments and delicious local foodie stands to discover. Plus as an added bonus… dogs go free! Can it be any more perfect for the whole fam?

The whole event will be eco-friendly. No single-use plastic is to be used or sold on-site, no glitter and low power LED lighting to deliver minimal impact and maximum magic! This is all with the aim of creating many more stories for years to come! The rebellion will be proud.

When asked about the upcoming event, Enchanted Garden Co-Founder, Lizzie Rayner had this to say:

“We wanted to create an event that inspired people to make memories with their loved ones, to reconnect with their local community and to take a time out from the busy worlds we live in and indulge in a moment of escapism…”

I’ll certainly be dusting off my old fairy wings and flying over to see the enchantments for myself!

You can discover Alexandra’s Enchanted Garden from February 14th to the 22nd at Alexandra Park in Penarth.
