Dinner in the sky

The latest in a long line of exciting events coming up this year, Cardiff in the Sky is set to take your dining experience to a whole new level.

The event involves a Sky Table being suspended one hundred feet in the air using a mobile crane. On board will be a restaurant, hanging in the sky. Guests can expected to be served first-rate cuisine while taking in the full sweep of wonderful scenery Cardiff has to offer. It promises to be a meal you’ll never forget.

Similar events have already been hugely successful elsewhere. London in the Sky has wowed daring foodies over the past few years, allowing to diners to enjoy world-class food while surveying some of the most famous landmarks in the world.

The event will be taking place outside the city hall. One thing is certain, it’s going to be a treat for the eyes as well as the palettes.

Cardiff In The Sky is open to the public from Wednesday, September 12 to Sunday, September 16 and tickets will be priced between £50 and £150 for the experiences.

Each seating in the air will seat 22 people, along with a chef, elevated into the skies for anything between 30 minutes to 90 minutes (depending on what they book). They will sit around two long tables facing each other and will be strapped into their seats.
