Cardiff's Rooftop Cinema returns

Summer is in the air, and with it comes the smell of fresh popcorn, as Cardiff’s very own starlight screenings return to the rooftop of Jacobs Antiques Market, overlooking the city. The outdoor screen opened in May  before taking a break throughout June and will light up again from this weekend for the remainder of the summer, with a selection of new releases and classic movies in the open air.
The Lost Lands Cinema on the Rooftop kicks off on Friday, with a screening of the classic ‘summer loving’ film Grease complete with American high school-themed bar. Bring your pink jackets, your black slick combs and knock back a few cocktails.
It’s one of a number of screenings taking place across sites in Cardiff and Penarth Figtree  , that also includes a new screening up on the Glam Nightclub roof and a mini golf tournament at Jacobs’ rooftop before the Adam Sadler film Happy Gilmore!
Other titles to make the journey skyward include Logan,  classics such as  Rocky Horror Picture Show and Mel Gibson’s new WWII movie Hacksaw Ridge. The outdoor season will run until September 23rd
