A MAD-CAP BINGO NIGHT WILL LET YOUR NANA PLAY FOR FREE ALL IN THE NAME OF CHARITY

A mad-cap brand of bingo is inviting revellers to ‘bring their nans for free’, and it’s all in the name of charity.

On Thursday 30th May, ‘BINGO LINGO’ – an event which typically features twerking, dance-offs, and off-the-wall prizes (think cardboard cut-outs of Drake, David Hasselhoff and Barry from Eastenders) – will invite guests to bring their nans along, completely free of charge (grandads are welcome too!).
Bingo Lingo: Bring Your Nan, will take place at The DEPOT in Cardiff, with all ticket profits going to Age Cymru, a charity that provide advice and support to older people to combat loneliness.
Victoria Lloyd from Age Cymru, said that Bingo Lingo: Bring Your Nan will help the charity to “continue to be here to support an older person who has no one to turn to. We know more than 75,000 older people often or always feel lonely. Our advice line provides free, confidential and impartial advice and is a lifeline to older people and their families. We’re delighted The Depot is raising vital funds for us to continue to be here to answer the call from a lonely older person who needs us.”
The DEPOT’s BINGO LINGO Events Manager, Rhys Hartley, continued, “Though our BINGO LINGO events might seem a little bit crazy and off-the-wall, we know that they appeal to people of all ages. We’re really looking forward to our ‘Bring Your Nan’ event, and to raising some money for a great cause.”

Tickets for Bingo Lingo: Bring Your Nan are now on sale, and cost £6 + £1 per Bingo book.
