Wet Wet Wet Bring 40th Anniversary Tour to Cardiff’s New Theatre

Wet Wet Wet are heading to Cardiff as part of their huge 40th anniversary tour celebrating their iconic debut album Popped In Souled Out.

The band will take to the stage at New Theatre Cardiff on Sunday 14th February 2027, bringing a night packed with classic hits and fan favourites to the city.

Originally released in 1987, Popped In Souled Out launched the band into the spotlight, hitting No.1 on the UK Albums Chart and delivering standout tracks like Wishing I Was LuckySweet Little MysteryAngel Eyes and Temptation. The album spent over 70 weeks in the charts and set the tone for one of the UK’s most successful pop careers.

For the Cardiff show, fans can expect a mix of songs from that debut record alongside some of the band’s biggest hits, including Love Is All AroundGoodnight Girl and With A Little Help From My Friends.

The current line-up features founding member Graeme Clark, guitarist Graeme Duffin and lead vocalist Kevin Simm, who continue to bring the band’s catalogue to both long-time fans and new audiences.

The 2027 tour will see Wet Wet Wet play 40 dates across the UK, with a number of special guests joining across the run, making each night a little different.

With a venue like the New Theatre offering a more intimate setting, the Cardiff date is set to be a standout stop on the tour and a rare chance to hear these songs up close.
