Clearwell Farm to Host Its First Food & Cider Festival This Summer

A brand new food and drink festival is heading to the hills just outside Cardiff, as Clearwell Farm prepares to host its very first Food & Cider Festival from Friday 31st July to Sunday 2nd August.

Set on a stunning hilltop overlooking Machen, the farm will be transformed into a laid-back summer festival packed with street food, live music, local produce and plenty to explore.

Visitors can expect a full weekend of entertainment, including circus acts, live performances and interactive cooking sessions, alongside a strong focus on food and drink. There’ll be 25 different ciders on offer at the bar, as well as local spirits, cocktail stalls and a wide range of independent traders and makers.

It’s not just about the food either. Clearwell Farm is already known for its seasonal events, and the festival will tie into its sunflower fields and summer experiences, giving visitors the chance to wander through the blooms, tackle the maze and grab some of those classic golden-hour photos.

With panoramic views across the surrounding countryside, it’s shaping up to be one of the more unique festival settings in South Wales this summer.

Organisers say this could be the start of more seasonal events at the farm, with plans to build on the festival in the future.

Vendor applications are now open via Clearwell Farm’s social channels, and anyone interested can also get in touch directly via alex@clearwellfarm.co.uk.

If you’re after a weekend of good food, proper cider and summer vibes, this one’s worth getting in the diary.
