Sunshine Booths Are Coming to Cardiff

As the days get shorter and darker, the average Brit will see around 9 hours less of sunlight than in peak summer. The drop in daylight, coupled with the drop in temperature and the onset of the usual cough and cold season can take a toll on our mental and physical wellbeing, leaving us feeling less than bright. Perfectly timed with the clocks going back, H&B’s ‘Sunshine Booth’ will be popping-up across UK high-streets to brighten-up Brits’ winter wellness routines.

Travelling to select H&B stores, the retailer is inviting customers to pop in and spend up to 20 minutes inside the booth – a calming space designed to help them pause and recharge. 

WHEN: Thursday 6th November from 8.30am – 8pm

WHERE: Holland & Barrett Cardiff Queen Street 

The brightly coloured Sunshine Booth will start in London and travel to UK cities Cardiff and Manchester. The booth is crafted with expert lighting (using the lighting featured in SAD lamps) designed to mimic effects of natural light and help customers feel relaxed and refreshed.

Throughout all H&B stores nationwide, an army of colleagues are available to offer expert advice on how to keep well this winter. All with the ambition of brightening the nations’ mood and helping keep healthy habits on track year round. 

The Sunshine Booth will be open to the public in London on the 5th November, Cardiff 6th November and Manchester 7th November. Those looking to brighten their day as well as get some wellness advice simply need to head into the store when the Sunshine Booth is in their city, no prior appointment or ticket is required.

The first ten customers who visit the Sunshine Booth will receive a Holland & Barrett goody bag worth £50, packed with products to support winter wellness. Each goody bag includes the Holland & Barrett Winter Wellness Bundle – your all-in-one immune and energy support kit, featuring three easy-to-take tablets, including: Vitamin D 1000 I.U. Tablets, Vitamin C 1000mg 60 Tablets and High Strength Zinc 15mg Tablets, plus a selection of additional wellness products.

Sunshine Booth Goody Bag Terms & Conditions:

Goody bags are limited to one per person and are available to the first 10 visitors to each Sunshine Booth location (Holland & Barrett Marble Arch, Cardiff Queen Street, and Manchester Trafford Centre). You must be over the age of 18 to receive a goody bag. To qualify, you must participate in the Sunshine Booth during the event dates (5th – 7th November 2025) at the respective locations. Goody bags will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability and while stocks last. Holland & Barrett reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion at any time.
