Tokyo Nights yakitori street food set to open stall in Cardiff Market.

The popular street food vendors Tokyo Nights, which is based in Founders & Co Swansea have announced they will be taking up a new space inside Cardiff Market.

The new stall will focus on gyozas and pan fried/steamed filled Hirata buns ( similar to Bao Buns) at first with a view to expand into a full menu later in the year.

Tokyo nights was started by Oliver and Katy who also have the Canadian-french street food store Puckin Putin. Chef, Oliver Bryant, travelled to the Rugby World Cup in Japan in October 2019 and on return he wanted to try something new to share his experiences of trip trip.

The team have been serving their yakitori menu at the Goodsheds since 2020 and have recently joined the street food restaurant, Founders & Co in Swansea.

On the menu in Cardiff will be gyozas and Pan fried buns which is different to their other locations.

Chef Oli: said We’re so excited and feel so lucky to be starting at Cardiff Market in the heart of the city, to be in such an iconic building with some great street food traders, we can’t wait to be a part of the markets future!

They plan to open inside Cardiff Market Early February.
