One of the city’s most anticipated summer events is back – the Cardiff Food and Drink Festival will return to Roald Dahl Plass in Cardiff Bay from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 June 2025.
A staple in the capital’s seasonal calendar, the festival promises three full days of fantastic food, drink and entertainment, bringing together a vibrant mix of local producers, international delicacies, and live music in one of the most scenic spots in the city.
As always, the event is free to attend and draws tens of thousands of visitors each year. Whether you’re a street food fanatic, a champion of Welsh produce, or simply after a great day out by the Bay, this festival has something for everyone.

The popular Producers Fair and Farmers Market will return with a rich spread of artisan goods – from chutneys, cheeses and charcuterie to sweet treats, craft spirits and more. Food lovers can also head to the bustling Street Food Piazza, where traders will be serving up everything from sizzling skewers and gourmet burgers to plant-based bites and globally inspired street eats.
Over at the Crafters Market, curated by Craft*folK, you’ll find a wide range of handmade goods from talented independent makers – ideal for picking up unique gifts or just treating yourself.
And it wouldn’t be a Cardiff summer event without live music. The Bandstand will host a packed programme of performers across all three days, creating a lively backdrop for the festival atmosphere.
