The LEGO Group brings the spirit of giving to the UK this November with its Build To Give interactive tour

To celebrate this year’s Build To Give initiative, the LEGO Group has created a 3D heart installation which will tour the UK, coming to Cardiff on 23rd November 2023

For the first time, the LEGO Group will be taking its annual Build To Give charity initiative on tour across the UK. Through a truly heartfelt display, families and communities alike will be encouraged to visit the touring LEGO® Heart and interactive build area up and down the country this winter.

Now in its seventh year, the annual Build To Give initiative asks LEGO fans to simply build a specific item out of their existing LEGO bricks and share on social media with the hashtag #BuildToGive. This year, for every heart built and shared, the LEGO Group will donate sets of bricks to a variety of charities across the UK.

Since its conception, Build To Give has seen over 6.5 million sets donated to those in need, while this year’s target has been set at a whopping 1.5 million sets of LEGO bricks.

The LEGO heart tour will finish its route at Cardiff’s St David’s Library Square on 23rd and 24th November, where guests will be able to immerse themselves in the Build To Give activation, build their own hearts to share on social media, and snap a pick with the large LEGO heart.

It’s easy to get involved and share some joy and positivity; everyone simply needs to build a heart and share with the hashtag before 31st December.

If you can’t make it down to the pop-up in person, don’t panic – you can still get involved with the initiative. Simply have a rummage around in your attic and find any LEGO bricks you’ve got knocking about, then build a heart and share it to social media with the hashtag: #BuildToGive.

This year, for every heart built and shared, the LEGO Group will be donating a sets of bricks to various charities across the UK. Now in its seventh year, the Build To Give initiative has seen over 6.5million sets of LEGO delivered to charity since 2017. This year alone, they aim to donate a whopping 1.5million sets to those in need
