A timeless love story of two women who fought for each other’s love through the decades.

Here’s a revised version of the passage:

Es & Flo” is an award-winning play that celebrates the love between two older lesbians in the vibrant and electric 1980s. The story follows the lives of Es and Flo, who have kept their relationship a secret for years and have lived together as lovers in their own private and blissful world. However, as Es begins to suffer from memory loss, an unexpected carer enters their lives, bringing the outside world closer and forcing them to confront the unexpected situation they find themselves in.

The play explores complex family relationships with truth and artistry, slowly uncovering secrets and unspoken truths that affect not only Es and Flo, but also those around them.

Jennifer Lunn’s writing in this play is simply beautiful. Her script is clever and articulate, transporting the audience straight into the lives of these two strong, amazing women featured in the story.

The Weston Studio at the Millennium Centre provides the perfect intimate setting that feels like a welcoming home from the moment you walk in. The stage set is powerful, perfectly matching the wonderful performances of all the actors involved.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”30137″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]The catalyst for the unfolding of these truths is a young girl named Kasia, played by the incredibly talented Reesie Dupe. Doreene Blackstock’s portrayal of Flo is particularly noteworthy, as she delivers a strong performance as the loving partner of Es, played by Liz Crowther, who in turn gives an amazingly convincing performance.
