Street Food Circus is set to return to the historic grounds of St Donat’s Castle for the annual Fantastic Fête.
This summer, the event promises to once again transform the site on the Vale of Glamorgan coast into a ‘remixed, 21st-century village fête’, bringing together Street Food Circus’ signature blend of outdoor feasting, circus thrills and family entertainment.
Over the course of two weekends – 1-2 August & 8-9 August – visitors can fill their day with high wire circus entertainment, Mexican Wrestling, a swim in the Lido pool, high-wire circus shows all fuelled by the best street food that Wales has to offer.

There’s a range of circus themed activities including Chris Bullzini’s circus show, the Pembrokeshire Fire Spinners, the Incredibly Clever Canine Circus, and Fiery Jacks family circus show, carnival of games and circus playground.
More family entertainment includes ‘the World’s Biggest Bouncy Castle’, Mexican Wrestling, the Artful Dodgems vintage roller rink, Kiss My Putt crazy golf, SFC’s Bubble Disco and Let’s Make Art crafting activities. This year also sees the launch of the Little Kooks Clwb which includes a range of things for kids to do on site including Circus School and a pack of activities to take home to keep them cooking and creating.
For the grown ups, the Lido Swimming Pool will be open, DJs will be playing all day, they can try their hand at Bull Axe Throwing or shop at the Indie Collectives Market. As the sun goes down over the sea, Fantastic Fête switches to an ‘After Dark’ party, bringing together music and fire shows, to create a laid-back festival feel.

“We are thrilled to be back at St Donat’s – it’s a truly unique site, set between the castle and the sea. We’ve reinvented the classic village fête with our travelling circus of attractions, the best street food around and lots of new activities to keep the whole family entertained. We think it’s the complete summer day out.”
