Families and Star Wars fans are in for a galactic start to half-term later this month, as The Red Dragon Centre hosts a free Star Wars-themed event packed with characters, photo opportunities and family fun.
Taking place on Saturday 23 May from 12pm–4pm, the Cardiff Bay venue will welcome iconic characters from the UK Garrison, bringing heroes and villains from the Star Wars universe to life throughout the day.
Visitors will have the chance to meet the characters, snap photos and enjoy a full afternoon of entertainment as the centre transforms into a mini galaxy far, far away.
The celebrations continue inside ODEON Cardiff, where The Mandalorian and Grogu will also be appearing, making it a must-visit day for younger fans and longtime followers of the franchise alike.
Alongside the fun, the event will also support Dreams & Wishes Charity, with donations welcomed throughout the day to help the charity continue supporting seriously ill children and their families.
Emma Constantinou, Marketing Manager for The Red Dragon Centre, said the event is designed to give families something special for half-term while also supporting a good cause.
The event is completely free to attend and open to all ages, making it one of Cardiff Bay’s biggest family-friendly events of the half-term break.
