A laid-back weekend of live music, street food and seaside views is returning to South Wales this summer, as SouthernSUNdown Festival heads back to Southerndown for its fourth year.
Taking place at the Three Golden Cups, the three-day festival blends live music, camping and family-friendly activities in one of the most scenic spots on the Welsh coast.

Set overlooking Dunraven Bay, the festival takes place in the grounds of the historic 300-year-old village pub and campsite, with coastal views stretching across the cliffs and sea.
Across the weekend, visitors can expect a packed line-up of live music, alongside local street food, beers, cocktails and a relaxed festival atmosphere designed for families as much as music fans.

One of the big draws is the festival’s family zone, featuring free kids activities, crafts, shows and entertainment, including the popular Pixel Free Play area where children can get creative and burn off some energy.
For those wanting to stay the whole weekend, camping is available from Friday 20th to Monday 23rd, with space for tents, campervans and motorhomes. There are also nearby campsites within walking distance for anyone looking for alternative accommodation.
Day tickets and weekend passes are available, with festival opening times running:
- Friday: 4pm until late
- Saturday: 12pm until late
- Sunday: 12pm – 9pm
Organisers are also reminding visitors to plan transport in advance, with the final buses leaving around 11:15pm–11:30pm each night.
The festival remains dog friendly too, provided dogs are kept on leads.
With live music by the sea, sunsets over the cliffs and a proper community feel, SouthernSUNdown has quietly become one of the more unique summer festivals in South Wales.
