Howdy partner! Cardiff’s Revolution Bar is all set to host a rootin’ tootin’ night of wild laughs with its new comedy night, Cowboys Comedy! on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. The event promises to be a hootin’ and hollerin’ good time with a line-up of sharpshooting comedians and cabaret performers. The theme for the night is Wild West, so don’t forget to bring your cowboy hat!
Cowboys Comedy! is a rip-roaring comedy variety show inspired by the Wild West and Cowboys. An immersed comedy show experience for the lovers of Wild Western vibes featuring some of the most exciting burlesque acts and stand up comedians. The night promises to be a night of hilarity and immersed laughter featuring some of the most exciting drag & Burlesque acts in South Wales and comedy superstars.
This is the first of its kind in Cardiff, brought to you by Master of Ceremonies and promoter – José Fortuna who runs Cardiff newest comedy events producing house – pigeontalkcomedy . José’s vision was to create an unique and incredibly entertaining comedy experience for the audience, and he has certainly delivered with Cowboys Comedy!
Headlining the show is the current BBC New Comedy Award Winner 2023, Frankie Monroe. aka Joe Kent-Walters, who performs as creeepy white-faced entertainer Frankie Monroe who runs a working men’s club in Rotherham
Also on the bill is Lilli Del Flur, a cabaret performer with a flair for the dramatic. Lilli’s performances are a mix of comedy, music, and burlesque, and she has been entertaining audiences across the UK for over a decade. Her larger-than-life personality and quick wit make her a perfect fit for Cowboys Comedy!
Last but not least, Mel Owen (who is undoubtedly a rising star in Welsh Comedy at the moment). She has a very distinguished and funny voice and has won stand-up competitions across the UK, including at Bristol Comedy Chest, Comedy Smash in Liverpool and the highly acclaimed Comedy Virgins competition for new acts in London
