Pubs, cafes and restaurants could re-open outdoors from July 13th

Cardiff’s hospitality industry is getting ready to reawaken this month if cases continue to fall.

Pubs, bars and restaurants with outdoor space can reopen from July 13th, along with attractions such as museums and galleries.

The Welsh government have announced that those venues with outdoor space could be the first to re-open on the 13th July if the R rate continues to fall.

The announcement will be made by the minister for international relations and Welsh language, Baroness Eluned Morgan. She will set out the phased re-opening plan for bars, cafes, pubs and restaurants at the daily press conference on Thursday, July 2.

Wales is the only part of the UK without a restart date for indoor hospitality.
