Golf Fang

A new crazy golf experience is heading to Cardiff, in a new addition to the city’s nightlife scene. Golf Fang, which currently has crazy golf venues in Birmingham, Newcastle, Liverpool, Sheffield and Glasgow, are now opening their first Welsh venue in the capital.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Cora & Jackson’s Oyster Bar

Opening February

Lee Skeet will open two new projects this year Cora and Jackson’s the cities first Oyster bar.

Following a sold out year at his Pontcanna restaurant, upstairs in the Milkwood Cafe, top chef Lee skeet who trained under Marcus Wareing and Gordon Ramsay and previously headed up the kitchen at the Michelin-starred Hedone, is relocating to one of the city’s most loved historic arcades – Duke Street Arcade, just outside Cardiff Castle in the city centre.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Giggling Squid

Thai tapas chain Giggling Squid two new restaurants coming to Cardiff this year. One in Mermaid Quay in Cardiff Bay and another on the Hayes at the St David’s Shopping centre. 

Founded by Pranee and Andrew Laurillard, with its first restaurant in Brighton, Giggling Squid now operates 46 venues across England. It has established a strong reputation for bold Thai cuisine, complemented by a stylish and relaxed setting. All the food is cooked by expert Thai chefs, including delicious dishes such as the moreish Moo Ping and tastebud tantalising Soft Shell Pranee Prawns.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Roxy Lanes

Gaucho Steak house

A high-end steak restaurant with a “vision of bringing the world’s best steak to the UK” is set to open its doors in Cardiff. Swoon Gelato

Artisan gelato brand Swoon will open its first Cardiff shop in the new year at the entrance to Duke Street Arcade, overlooking Cardiff Castle.

Swoon’s distinctive black and white shops serve its own handmade gelato alongside speciality desserts such as mini gelato cakes, ‘Swoondaes’ and semifredo cakes. They also serve Italian coffee from Naples and their own pure hot chocolate drinks.

Fast-food chain Popeyes will be offering its famous ‘Louisiana chicken’ to fans across the UK with their first Welsh restaurant opening in Cardiff. The Popeyes menu boasts a range of classic and spicy chicken burgers in brioche buns, Louisiana chicken on the bone, which has been marinated in herbs and spices for 12 hours, buttermilk chicken tenders and hot wings.
