Breathe Deep, Dance Free: A One-Day Escape at Wild at Garth Festival
Set against the backdrop of the Garth Hills, just outside Cardiff, the very first Wild at Garth Festival will take place on Saturday 20th September 2025, offering a one-day celebration of music, wellness, and community.
Blending the energy of a boutique music festival with the calm of a wellness retreat, Wild at Garth is designed to help people step away, reconnect with nature, and enjoy an unforgettable experience in a truly special location.
From 10am to 10pm, guests can expect a relaxed, feel-good atmosphere, with live music, holistic sessions, food and drink, artisan traders, and family-friendly activities.
The main stage will host live performances in collaboration with Sound Progression music charity from Black Metro, Leighton Jones (The Voice), Four Act Riot, Ella Mayah, Dagrau Tân, Noon Wolf, The Plums, and many more.
As the sun begins to set, the tempo rises with evening sets from legendary DJs Paul Lyons and Kaptain, with their Bump n Hustle Crew, bringing their signature mix of house, funk, and soulful anthems to close the festival.
Beyond the music, festival goers can take part in a range of wellness sessions throughout the day, all included in the ticket price and bookable via the Wunderbook app. The wellness programme includes Breathe with Ruth, Qi-gong with Emma Sunhouse, Laughter Yoga, and Sound Bath.
There’s also a dedicated area to keep young festivalgoers, the “Little Wilds” entertained and inspired with Teen Yoga, Survival Skills, Wild Craft, Facepainting, Baby Sensory, and Hullahoop workshops provided by Sparklettes.
Wild at Garth will also feature a selection of independent traders and holistic therapists, including Gypsy Soul – festival clothing & accessories, Patrick Coombes – scenic art prints, Tori – amateur crystal healing & reiki, Julia Bramble – shiatsu therapist, and Dawnstalkers with their mobile sauna and cold dip tanks offering contrast therapy sessions.
Food and drink will also be available to purchase and provided by a range of local vendors.
As with all events hosted by Garth Glamping, sustainability sits at the heart of the Wild at Garth ethos. Festival operations will focus on low-impact practices, local partnerships, and conscious living.
