Canton’s Bone Yard Launches Monthly Supperclub Series Featuring Top Chefs and Wine Pairings.
Canton’s Bone Yard is set to become a hub for foodies as a brand new ‘supperclub series’ is set to bring fine dining and matching wines to the popular venue this summer. TwentySix, a recently opened all-day venue at The BoneYard, will play host to a different guest chef once a month for an evening of gastronomic delights.
A number of guest chefs will take over the shipping container kitchen at TwentySix, creating bespoke menus for each event, and local wine merchants Wine Fiend will provide an accompanying, pairing wine list. It’s a collaboration between three independent businesses who just want to do exciting things in food and drink and keeping things local.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”30065″ img_size=”full” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center”][vc_column_text]The first event of the series is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 17th May, featuring Andrew Minto as the guest chef. Minto is best known for winning Bake Off: The Professionals as part of a two-person team back in 2021. He has recently started his own business called Minto’s Patisserie, and this event will be an opportunity for him to showcase his culinary skills beyond desserts.
The menu for Andrew’s supperclub is impressive, beginning with focaccia and homemade butter canapes, followed by BBQ prawn, wild garlic & fermented chilli, and prawn bisque as starters. The main course will feature pork cheek, onion, potato, and mustard. Pre-dessert, (yes that’s a double dessert menu) will be apple pie, while dessert will be a mouth-watering concoction of chocolate, miso, spelt, and tonka bean. Finally, guests will enjoy petit fours to round off the evening.
WineFiend will have the task to curate a beautiful wine list to accompany the food and will be on hand to talk about the selection of organic, low-intervention wines from the best small producers.
