New burger boy on the block, Ansh, will opened overlooking Victoria Park and we love it!. They have got some quirky items on the menu which will definitely see them bring something new to the table.
The brainchild of a former primary school teacher, Aled, and 4th generation farmer, Shaun; Ansh is aiming to deliver a totally unique burger experience to a crowded Cardiff scene. We really do love our burgers in the capital. All the pattys will be locally sourced from down the road in Llygadenwyn, where Shaun’s family farm pride themselves on ethical practices and always put animal welfare first.
Ansh incorporates the primal art of cooking with fire and stone to create some unbelievable burger combinations. Mixing tradition with modern twists, the boys at Ansh have crafted a totally unique burger joint. From the Barti Ddu (pirates treasure) burger which comes with a charcoal black bun and seaweed rum sauce, to the Maiden of Flowers vegan burger on potato bun; there’s something new for everyone to try. All burgers can also be made gluten-free.
As well as old classics and new innovative burgers, there will be a rolling specials menu to keep the fresh ideas coming. Plus, anyone who is a member of Yes Cymru will receive a 5% discount as the owners are proud supporters of an independent Wales.
While the restaurant undergoes a makeover, Ansh will be offering take away collections until they open fully in the new year. Find them @anshcymru for more details as they continue to develop their menu and what this space for a grand opening soon.
