Lost Lands Cinema will be returning to the rooftop of Jacob’s Antiques starting on the 20th of August! They have been sorely missed this summer but now it’s time to settle in for more nights of movie magic under the stars.
Opening each night at 7pm the first film to showcase this summer is The Rocky Horror Picture Show (fancy dress will be wholeheartedly welcomed). With Joker screening on the 21st the next night and many more films planned, your movie buff schedule can begin to fill up again. That goes for double as Lost Lands will soon be releasing dates for viewings over on the Penarth Seafront.
As always, street food and drinks will be on hand to ensure the ultimate summer movie experience. In the first week the vendors will be Macho Nacho cooking up loaded nachos and fresh tacos, as well as a classic sweet bar. The usual Jacobs cocktail bar will also be open, supplying a range of beers and cocktails that you can order via an app.
Of course, COVID will be on all our minds, but you can rest easy with this one. Track and trace will be in use, along with a one-way system and social distancing procedures throughout the venue. If your screening cannot go ahead due to lockdown measures, you will be offered the choice of a full-refund or rebook, whichever you prefer. Your safety is top priority so you can kick back and enjoy the film with peace of mind.
