Local music festival GlastonBARRY is close to selling out

Missed Glastonbury? GlastonBARRY Is the Ultimate Local Festival You Don’t Want to Miss

If Glastonbury gave you serious FOMO, don’t worry — GlastonBARRY is back this summer, bringing big festival energy to Barry with a line-up packed with live music, family fun, and tribute acts that are sure to get the crowd singing.

Now in its 12th year, the homegrown festival returns to Romilly Park from Friday 25th July to Sunday 27th July 2025, and it’s grown into one of South Wales’ must-attend summer events, drawing up to 7,000 visitors a day.

A Family-Friendly Start

The weekend kicks off with GlastonBARRY Juniors on Friday 25th July, a family-friendly day designed especially for younger festivalgoers.

From 11am, families can head to the Big Top for tribute performances to Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Harry Styles, along with magic shows, wrestling displays, creative workshops, funfair rides and more.

There’s a food court and licensed bar on site — with slushies and soft drinks for the kids, and a cold pint or glass of wine for the grown-ups.

You’ll also catch performances from local talent including Bro Radio’s Seren Y Fro winner, plus Welsh acts Mr Phormula and Côr Meibion y Barri.

Only 10% of tickets remain, so early booking is advised at www.glastonbarry.com.

The Main Event: Two Days of Music for the Grown-Ups

Then, it’s time for the adults to take over as the main 18+ event runs across Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th July, with a huge line-up of 22 bands across two stages.

Expect tribute headliners to the likes of Queen, Oasis, Tom Jones, Boyzone and Red Hot Chili Peppers, plus fan favourites including George Ezra, Pink, Green Day, The Specials and Bob Marley.

With a buzzing atmosphere, food stalls, and a fully stocked bar, it’s the perfect weekend to grab your mates and soak up the summer vibes — without the camping chaos.
