The Cardiff Christmas Festival is back — and bigger, brighter, and frostier than ever. Returning to Sophia Gardens this winter, the city’s most magical festive celebration will once again transform the Sophia Gardens into a glittering wonderland beneath the iconic Spiegel Theatre.
Following the huge success of last year’s The Snow Queen, this year’s headline production is an all-new family musical, Jack Frost — a frosty, feel-good show brimming with toe-tapping songs, dazzling choreography, and laugh-out-loud comedy. Audiences are invited to step into a world of Christmas magic as Jack and Gwen Frost join Mr and Mrs Claus, the mischievous Toy Tycoon, and a toy box of colourful characters on a heart-warming mission to save Christmas. Expect plenty of sparkle from Bryn, the singing and dancing polar bear, and a return from the scene-stealing gangster penguins who won hearts in last year’s show.
