IRISH indie rock sensation Hozierreturns to St David’s Hall on Tuesday 17 Septemberas part of his eagerly anticipated Wasteland, Baby!tour.

Hozier’s second album Wasteland, Baby!is to be released on Friday 1 March and features the amazing singles Nina Cried Power (featuring iconic soul acts Mavis Staples and Booker T), Movementand Almost (Sweet Music). The Irish singer born Andrew Hozier-Byrne stormed to worldwide wide thanks to his smash-hit single Take Me To Church (originally released as a free download in September 2013), which subsequently sold over 2 million copies and won a prestigious Ivor Novello award. His self-titled debut album was recorded in the attic bedroom of his parents’ home in Bray, County Wicklow, but Hozier quickly broke out of those confines to land slots on Saturday Night Liveand duet with Annie Lennox at the Grammys.
Wasteland, Baby!is the critically acclaimed follow-up, which has now amassed an incredible 2 billion streams on Spotify alone. The album has already sold over 850,000 copies in pre-sales in the UK – going platinum in the process – while it’s sold 4.4 million copies worldwide.
