Wales’ largest independent music, science, and arts festival came to a euphoric finale last night, as the iconic Green Man effigy was set alight and ecstatic festival-goers drifted into the embracing night.
Across the weekend, the 25,000-strong sell-out crowd witnessed extraordinary performances that cemented this year as one of the most memorable in the festival’s history. The Mountain Stage saw career-defining moments from Underworld, Wet Leg, TV On The Radio, Beth Gibbons, CMAT, MJ Lenderman, Wunderhorse, Yard Act, John Grant and many more. The Far Out Stage erupted with outstanding sets from Kneecap, English Teacher, KOKOROKO, Greentea Peng, Cymande, alongside unforgettable highlights from rising stars.

This year’s festival will be remembered for its firsts, its surprises, and the sheer scale of performances that lit up every corner of the site. Sunday night closed in spectacular fashion with Beth Gibbons of Portishead delivering a haunting, emotional set, followed by the genre-shifting energy of TV on the Radio, bringing the weekend to a thunderous crescendo.

Across four days, Green Man 2025 welcomed some of the most exciting and groundbreaking acts to ever grace its stages. From Kneecap’s fierce, politically charged set and Wet Leg’s indie-rock firepower, to CMAT’s record-breaking Mountain Stage crowd and the euphoric late-night rave of Underworld, each performance left a mark on festival history. Rising stars like Dove showed the future of music is just as thrilling, while local hero High Contrast had the final word on Sunday night, closing the festival with a high-energy set rooted in Welsh pride.
Green Man 2025 also shone a spotlight on an extraordinary array of Welsh talent, with magical performances from Melin Melyn, Los Campesinos!, Gwenno, Tristwch Y Fenywod, Georgia Ruth, Peiriant, Adawaith and many more, proving once again why the festival holds such a vital place in Wales’ cultural landscape.
