The Concert for Change will be held at City URC Church on Windsor Place
On Friday 7th June at 7:30pm, City URC Church on Windsor Place will come alive with music as it hosts a special fundraising concert in aid of Bigmoose, the Cardiff-based charity doing big things to support mental health.
The evening will showcase performances from a talented line-up of musicians, including saxophone quartets and choral ensembles, many of whom are students from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Whether you’re a fan of classical sounds or simply looking for a lovely evening out for a good cause, this promises to be a night of uplifting performances and community spirit.
There’ll also be refreshments served during the evening, adding to the warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The event is raising funds for Bigmoose, a local charity on a mission to help people with their mental health, prevent suicide and support recovery. Founded by father-daughter duo Jeff and Chloe Smith in memory of their friend Gary “Moose” Cloonan, the charity has become a beacon of hope in the city – offering therapy, support programmes and kindness-driven projects to help people through tough times.
Whether you’re a music lover, a supporter of mental health causes, or just fancy a positive Friday night event, head down to City URC Church on 7th June and help make a difference – one note at a time.
