The Cycling drum and bass DJ is returning his mobile rave to Cardiff this weekend.
Dom Whiting has been visiting cities across the United Kingdom and Europe urging people to ride with him as he DJs.
He started Drum and Bass on The Bike, in 2021 during lockdown. He believes the event has helped those suffering depression and others hit by inflation.
Hundreds of people flocked to see him when he arrived in Cardiff last June just after lockdown to join him on a moving rave around the city.
The riding artist said that as well as the free event being good for physical and mental health, he feels the “collective” gathering is the perfect fun for anyone hit by inflation.[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/IoULsBN9xH4″ align=”center” title=”Watch Dom Whiting’s last visit to the Cardiff”][vc_column_text]“The ride is about being together, enjoying, getting exercise – it’s something different and fun. I don’t charge because I’m not interested in taking money from people and the minute it becomes about money, it will fall flat on its face. I’m only interested in making the ride as fun as it can be.”
The event is due to set off at Cardiff Bay Meeting at the Roald Dahl Plass at 2pm, Sunday the 11th September.
