Cambrensis Fashion Show: Celebrating Wales’ Heritage and Sustainable Fashion

Home grown Fashion brand to host biggest fashion show to date.
On Saturday, February 8th, 2025, as Cambrensis, the Welsh-born men’s apparel brand, hosts a their latest fashion show that promises to honour the past while shaping the future of fashion. Established in 2022, Cambrensis is renowned for its exclusive garments crafted using specialist fabrics and pigments, reflecting Wales’ industrial heritage and innovative spirit.

The event, held to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the end of the Welsh miners’ strikes, will celebrate the country’s rich industrial legacy while championing sustainable fashion. Proceeds from ticket sales and donations collected on the night will benefit City Hospice, a cause close to the hearts of the organisers.

Doors open at 7:00 PM, with Swansea-based band Subterrania delivering an intimate, stripped-back live performance to set the tone for the evening. The runway show, which begins at 8:30 PM, will be presented bilingually by Rhydian Bowen Phillips, a familiar face from the BBC, S4C, and Cardiff City Football Club.

Attendees can look forward to a showcase of Cambrensis’ latest designs, including an exclusive collaborative collection with Welsh sustainable streetwear designer Nia Jade. This special line combines heritage craftsmanship with cutting-edge contemporary style, all crafted in Wales.

The evening doesn’t end with the fashion show. After the runway, guests can enjoy a drinks and networking session accompanied by a DJ set from the talented Katie Owen, rounding off the night with energy and flair.

With 300 attendees expected, this event is set to be a standout on Cardiff’s fashion calendar. It’s a celebration of Welsh culture, sustainability, and innovative design—not to be missed.
