Bluey’s Big Play Is Back

Back by popular demand – Bluey, Bingo, Bandit and Chilli are returning to Cardiff in the Olivier award-nominated live stage show, Bluey’s Big Play.

Featuring brilliantly created puppets, this theatrical adaptation of the Emmy® award-winning children’s television series is packed with music, laughter, and fun for the whole family.

When Dad feels like a little bit of afternoon time out, Bluey and Bingo have other plans! Join them as they pull out all of the games and cleverness at their disposal to get Dad off that bean bag. With an original story by Bluey creator Joe Brumm, and new music by Bluey composer, Joff Bush. This is Bluey, For Real Life at the Wales millennium centre form 7th – 10th May 2026

Bringing Bluey, Bingo, Mum and Dad to life through masterfully operated puppets, the stage show has been praised for its energy, warmth, and appeal to audiences of all ages. Based on the Emmy Award-winning series, the production features an original story by Bluey creator Joe Brumm and fresh music composed by Joff Bush, known for the show’s signature sound.

Since its Australian premiere, the Olivier-nominated Bluey’s Big Play has travelled extensively, with global stops across North America, Europe, and Asia. Its previous UK tour garnered widespread acclaim, with Broadway World calling it “full of chair dancing and shrieks of joy,” while The Guardian celebrated the “sweet show [that] sets tails wagging.”
