Cardiff will soon be home to one of London’s most popular string of cocktail bars – The Cocktail Club.
The new venue will open on the site of the former Karma club, located at 75 St Mary Street, between the Philharmonic and the recently opened Par.59 min-golf bar.
Nightcap – which is behind The Cocktail Club is also behind the Adventure Bar Group , who recently opened their first welsh Tonight Josephine on Caroline Street.
The site has a 3am licence from Monday- Sunday and has a capacity of 220.
The Cocktail Club which opened their first branch in London in 2008 is a fast expanding and developing brand in the UK. Known for its ‘world-class’ drinks menu and fun events including cocktail masterclasses, celebration packages and themed brunches. It is also renowned for its Happiness Trees where you can either choose between six cocktails for £60 for 12 cocktails for £100 from a menu of either Pornstar Martini, Espresso Martini or French Martini.
Currently their bars serve up an extensive list of cocktails described as offering ‘high octane mixologists and world-class cocktails’ which include a mix of classic and contemporary cocktails such as pornstar or espresso martinis, reggae rum punches, long island ice teas, smoked collins and bullfrogs.
Their music policy is a complete mix of old school and current hits, including songs from all different eras and genres. The London sites – known for their vibrant interiors and flower-patterned seating – also offer reserved areas and deluxe cocktails for birthdays and guest-list entry for those who plan ahead.
The dramatic transformation of Cardiff’s former late night spot is currently underway and is set to open later this summer.
