A Grander Things brunch and party have been announced to welcome in the spooky season in style

This Halloween; go spooky, go strange…go grand with the ultimate Stranger Things tribute brunch at Cardiff’s Grand Hotel.

The Grand Hotel are at it again with their spectacular brunches, but this time it’s brunch with a twist. Launching as a Halloween event, Grander Things will feature unlimited themed cocktails and themed foods set to the backdrop of the best 80s music, as featured in Stranger Things.

This event is the perfect testament to the success of the series and what a better way to pay homage to it. As per their existing brunch criteria, guests will have 90 mins to consume all the prosecco or cocktails they so wish, plus 3 plates chosen from the themed brunch menu.

If The Grand Hotel’s standard small plates menu is anything to go by, there will be lots of tasty dishes on offer with a variety of choice to suit everyone. However, ticket holders will have to wait and see what surprises are in store to make their extra special menu, extra strange…

Grander Things takes place on Saturday 29th October 2022 at Grand Hotel, Westgate Street, CF10 1DD. The tickets come in at £40pp which covers food, drink and entertainment! Brunch will be served from 2pm until 6pm but tickets are limited so early booking is advised using the link below.

But that’s not all, if you want to celebrate in style and visit the Upside Down, Grand Hotel are continuing this fantastic event into the night with a Grander Things Halloween party!

Featuring live music from a DJ playing great 80s tracks from 7:30pm-12:30am, where fans can bask in the nostalgia of radio resurgence hits such as Running Up That Hill and Master of Puppets.

There will be themed food and Upside Down cocktails to enjoy, and in the spirit of Halloween, fancy dress is of course expected! The questionable haircuts are optional (bowl cuts and buzzcuts anyone?) but whether you channel your inner rocker a la Eddie or choose to don a baseball cap and shirt to be more Dustin, just grab your Hellfire Club shirt and expect to have a fun time partying with fans as you dance the night away to the ultimate playlist.

This is an experience like no other with amazing food and live entertainment but needless to say these events are for over 18s only. Drink until you feel Upside Down but be careful not to wake up looking like Vecna the next morning!

Early bird tickets are on sale now for just £7.50, with second release costing £10 thereafter. Both include one welcome drink on arrival. All tickets are on sale until Thursday 27th October 2022, 2pm so plan ahead and get that date in your diaries for a strange and unique Halloween.
