Indie favourites Blossoms are heading to Cardiff this autumn as part of the biggest headline tour of their career.
The Stockport five-piece have announced a major UK arena tour in support of their newly revealed sixth studio album, Songs From The Wedding Cake, which is due for release on 2nd October.
The tour arrives in Cardiff on Thursday 26th November, when the band will take to the stage at the Utilita Arena Cardiff, joined by special guests The Royston Club, one of Wales’ fastest-rising indie bands.

The announcement comes alongside the release of the band’s latest single Meet Me In Love, a disco-infused anthem featuring backing vocals from fellow singer-songwriter Declan McKenna. The track follows recent single Joke About Divorce and offers another glimpse into what fans can expect from the new album.
Speaking about the song, frontman Tom Ogden explained that it was written during a songwriting trip to the Lake District and quickly became one of the band’s favourites.
The accompanying music video, directed by Ogden himself, stars television presenter Maya Jama alongside actor Callum Scott-Howells, creating a colourful, romantic visual inspired by old Hollywood and 1970s disco glamour.
The album title, Songs From The Wedding Cake, takes its name from a local nickname for Stockport’s Victorian Town Hall, where Ogden got married. The record explores everyday life through a larger-than-life lens, blending funk, indie-pop and the infectious hooks that have become synonymous with Blossoms over the past decade.
Produced by Shawn Lee at Tilehouse Studios and recorded to tape, the album sees the band embracing a warmer, more organic sound while continuing to deliver the big choruses and dancefloor-ready moments fans have come to love.
For Cardiff music fans, the addition of The Royston Club to the tour makes the night even more appealing. The Wrexham band have built a strong following across the UK with their energetic live shows and infectious indie anthems, making them the perfect support act for what is expected to be one of the biggest gigs of the autumn.
