The magic of Christmas is returning to the Vale this winter as Forage Farm Shop and Kitchen brings back its hugely popular Christmas Experience — a festive celebration packed with theatre, laughter, crafts, and plenty of seasonal sparkle.

Running across four weekends and selected weekdays from 29th November to 23rd December, the family-friendly event promises a full day of festive fun at Forage Farm Shop, Penllyn Estate, Cowbridge. Visitors can expect an enchanting mix of entertainment and tradition — from the hilarious, interactive Elf Show to meet-and-greets with Father Christmas, who’ll be handing out gifts to every child.
This year, the event introduces a new addition — a professional photo opportunity with Father Christmas — giving families the chance to capture the magic forever. After the show, guests can enjoy a host of festive activities, including marshmallow roasting, glitter tattoos, letter writing to the North Pole, and the much-loved reindeer food and Christmas decoration workshops.
And of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas at Forage without some irresistible treats. Visitors can tuck into mince pies, mulled wine, hot chocolate, festive fries, and the famous Grinch milkshake, all served up in the twinkling festive setting.
Tickets start from £6 for under 2s, £17.50 for children aged 3–13 (including a gift), and £15 for adults. Bookings are now open via bit.ly/ChristmasExperienceTickets.
The Forage Farm Shop will also stay open late throughout the event, filled with local produce, gifts, and festive hampers — perfect for a little Christmas shopping before or after the show. The adjoining Forage Restaurant will serve a special festive menu from 27th November, available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
For those looking to get even more creative this Christmas, wreath-making sessions and craft workshops with Clay & Craft will also take place on-site throughout December.
