To celebrate their 30th birthday, Wales’ leading homelessness charity Llamau, has organized a fun-filled celebrity auction, due to take place at the Principality Stadium on Monday, 16th May.

Llamau, which means “steps” in Welsh, supports homeless young people and vulnerable women for whom the risk of becoming homeless is, or has already become, a frightening reality. Operating across the whole of Wales, they have numerous projects and provide many services where people are able to find safe accommodation and support at the hardest of times. Included among the wide range of support on offer are their Supported Accommodation projects, which give young people a step towards independent living. In addition, their Domestic Abuse Support and Women’s Services run a range of housing-related support and refuge provision across many areas of south Wales.

Llamau works with thousands of people each year through services like these as they focus on achieving their vision to eradicate homelessness and give those in need a much brighter future.

As part of their birthday celebrations and in order to continue raising awareness for their brilliant cause, Llamau has organised a fantastic charity auction called ‘Illustrating Homelessness’. The event will kick off at 7pm on 16th May and will allow you to bid on original, one-off drawings by some of your favourite celebrities, illustrating their #IdeaofHome!

The artwork of many popular celebs will be on offer, including the likes of Hozier, Michael Sheen and Alan Carr just to name a few. Tickets are £10 each and include a glass of bubbly on arrival.

For an evening of charitable fun and in order to help support an amazing cause, buy your tickets here. For more details, please visit Llamau’s website where you can also see the full gallery of drawings available on the night.
