Step back in time this summer as Wales’ only vintage festival returns to Cardiff, bringing the sights, sounds and style of the 40s, 50s and 60s to Whitchurch Library Gardens.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the boutique festival will take place across the weekend of Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July 2026, with camping available from Thursday 9th July for those looking to make a full weekend of it.

Set in the leafy surroundings of Whitchurch Village, the festival promises a packed line-up of live music, dancing and vintage experiences, all designed to transport visitors back to a golden era of music and culture.
Across the weekend, there will be 18+ live bands performing across three stages, alongside three dance floors hosting everything from jive and lindy hop to collegiate shag and rock ‘n’ roll. Visitors can also get involved themselves with instructor-led dance workshops running throughout the event.

Beyond the music, there is plenty more to explore. A cabaret arena, giant outdoor cinema and vintage fun fair add to the atmosphere, while the Vintage Emporium will be filled with fashion, collectibles and retro finds.
For those fully embracing the theme, there will be period vehicles, re-enactors and even appearances from The Churchills, alongside standout displays including a full-size replica Spitfire and Hurricane. A flypast from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is also expected, subject to confirmation.

The festival is designed to be family friendly, with a welcoming atmosphere for all ages and free entry for under 16s. Organisers are also encouraging visitors to dress up in their finest vintage outfits and become part of the experience.
There is also a pre-evening party on Friday 10th July, available with a separate ticket, to kick off the weekend in style.
Food, cocktails and after-parties will keep things going into the evening, while vintage camping and glamping optionsoffer a chance to stay right in the heart of the action.

Blending music, dance and nostalgia, the festival has become a standout event on Cardiff’s summer calendar, and its 10th anniversary edition looks set to be the biggest yet.
